ARTWORK

Outlined artwork (or vector graphics) are digital graphic images that are defined by connecting points with lines and curves to create solid shapes. They provide an advantage over image based graphic images by virtue of being able to be scaled up or down with no loss of sharpness or resolution.

In this particular case study, the fashion brand Belstaff wanted to recreate an old hand drawn 'Bellstaff Brand' logo design from their archives. The only original was an old image file that wouldn’t reproduce very well when enlarged. I was able to faithfully recreate the original in outline so that it could be reproduced not only at large scale but also through modern computer programmed processes such as machine embroidery.

An outline version of your logo is something that I deliver with all branding solutions.

In this case study I was required to work quickly to adapt the existing outline artwork from a Vermouth brands label. Regal Rogue required that I kept the style of the artwork consistent with the brand, but amended the face of their original rogue mascot to those of Ryan Reynolds and Richard Branson.

The new labels were used on bottle wraps for promotional gifts in support of the brands announcement of a new partnership with Virgin Atlantic and Aviation Gin.
